This was Owen's worst day of swelling. His face would swell depending on which way his head was turned when he was sleeping. His right eye was almost swollen shut. Despite the swelling, Owen was acting as happy as could be! It was this morning that the nurses all said that there was no reason for us to stay in the hospital since we could do everything that they were doing at home. All we had to do was wait for someone from the neurosurgeon's office to come and release us.
It is truly amazing to see how quickly Owen is recovering. He is a fighter!
