surgery day part 3 (recovery room)

Again, this picture was taken with a cell phone since we didn't have our camera with us. Owen was in the recovery room for about an hour. We were first told that I was only going to be able to see Owen and Kenny would have to wait until Owen was in a room. Then we were told that we could both go see him but only one of us could stay with him. By the time the nurse came to get us, she told us to just stay until we were asked to leave. It turned out, Kenny and I both stayed with him the whole time and they even let all the grandparents come see him quickly and walk together to the ICU. As you can see, he was hooked up to a lot of different machines. We were shocked to see how good he actually looked here. He was resting peacefully.
